Skin Cancer Checks
Not only do we provide Skin Cancer Checks, we also perform Freezing, Burning and Excisions as required (Cryotherapy & Cautery).
Please advise reception that you will need a long appointment so we can conduct a personalised skin check-up from head to toe.
Early detection of Skin Cancer can help prevent long term illness.
Minor Surgery
Our centre is fully equipped with the latest instruments and sterilisation equipment.
It is important to specify that surgery is desired when making your appointment.
Antenatal Shared Care
We offer pregnant women the choice of having antenatal care through the GP Antenatal Care Program liaising with the GCUH (Gold Coast University Hospital) and Robina Hospital.
This allows women to visit their GP regularly and only attend the Hospital's antenatal clinic three or four times during the pregnancy.
Sports Medicine
Sports Medicine bridges the gap between science and practice in the promotion of exercise and health, and in the scientific assessment, study and undertstanding of sports performance.
Features include: sports injury prevention and treatment; exercise for health; drugs in sport and recommendations for training and nutrition.
Travel Health Advice & Vaccinations
Our doctors are able to provide you with advice on travel health issues, and are able to recommend any vaccines that may be needed for your trip.
We stock all major vaccines.
If you would like to visit us for Travel Health advice, please make an appointment and bring a copy of your itinerary with you when you visit.
Mental Health
We actively manage the mental health of our patients by providing ongoing support and referral programs.
We manage the needs of our patients by co-ordinating referrals to Psychiatrists, Psychologists and Counsellors to ensure a positive outcome is achieved.
We provide mental health care plans which allow patients to see Psychologists for a prescribed number of visits as per the Medicare guidelines.
Pap Smears
Yes we Bulk Bill Pap Smears.
While a little uncomfortable, the pap test is quick and simple and allows for the detection of cell changes which can then be treated.

Diving Medicals
When booking a Diving Medical we ask that you give the following information:
- If you require a Diving Medical and whether it is an initial or a renewal medical
- Whether a recreational or commercial medical is required
This is a Private Billing Service.

In Australia all diving students are required to be medically fit to dive and commercial divers
require an annual Diving Medical to maintain certification.
Dr Max Wong is certified to perform initial and renewal Diving Medicals for:
- Recreational divers 14 years and over in
accordance with standards set by South
Pacific Underwater Medicine Society (SPUMS) and
- Commercial divers in accordance with ASNZS 2299
- (18 years and over)
